Akiko\u2019s trekking career started 2013 in New Zealand, on the world renowned Milford Track (awarded for Best Guide in 2015). Came back to Japan in 2018, since then, she has been guiding Japanese mountains, bike trips, as well as city tours for international tourists from around the globe.
\nGuided over 3,000 international clients so far. Since the pandemic, she started to base in Takao and provide English education program \u201cEikaiwa Hiking (English Hiking) to Japanse English learners at Mt. Takao because she fell in love with this mountain. Also worked as a translator for Tokyo Olympics 2020.<\/p>\n

\nQ1: Can I rent a flashlight?
\nA1: Yes. We have flashlights available.\u00a0 Please answer \u201cYES\u201d to the question \u201cWould you like to borrow a flashlight?\u201d on the application form if you need a flashlight.<\/p>\n
Q2: Are there any places I can keep unnecessary items during the event?
\nA2: We do not keep your luggage\/bags during this event. There are coin lockers located at the Keio Takaosanguchi Station and Kiyotaki Cable Car Station.\u00a0 However, the number of coin lockers are limited so please try to bring the minimum number of items (luggage\/bags) with you if at all possible.<\/p>\n
Q3: How cold does it get on the day of event?
\nA3: The average temperature is around 15 \u2103. The temperature can drop below 10\u2103 at night, so we recommend that you dress with layers of clothing to adjust your body temperature.<\/p>\n
